| 7 MAN TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP - 2005 |
|
The basic format is 8 groups of 4 teams playing
a Round Robin, with the 2 teams on the highest points in each
group going through to the knockout stages.
A draw to decide the home or away advantage will take place for
each stage of the knockout stages, with the first draw (last 16)
being winner seeded. This means that the winner of group 1 will
play the runner up of group 2 and so on with the winner of group
8 playing the runner up of group 1.
The Quarter Final will be in the format of the winner of match
1 will play the winner of match 5 from the last 16 results. W2
v W6, W3 v W7 and W4 v W8.
PLEASE NOTE - All results must be phoned or texted through
to Steve Howard (07915 633231) no later than 10pm on the Thursday
following the match.
Failure to do so will lead to expulsion of the offending team
from the tournament.
Result cards to be posted as normal.
NOTE - There will be no match points awarded , only frame points.
Teams not fulfilling any fixture will receive a £20
fine.
Only players registered during the summer season
will be allowed to play, and they can only play for the team they
are registered for. No additional players may be registered after
the end of the season.
