Stockport & District Pool League, being a founder member of the county, has fielded an inter-league team within the County Association since its inception, and some years ago fielded three teams. Last season we once again have, because of the interest shown, fielded three teams, and continue to do so.

Membership of the teams is open to all members of the league, who are willing too religously turn out on match days (Sundays). There is a requirement to have a rudimenatry knowledge of the World Eightball Pool Federation Rules.

The ideal size of the teams are 12 to 15 players, and because of the level of interest trials are held each year to achieve these numbers.

Matches are generally played on the last Sunday of each month, dates usually set by the English Pool Association

Players interested in playing on the Stockport teams are in the first instance to contact the Secretary who will advise of the trials dates, usually late January or early February

The current teams are presently made up of 14 players on each who are representative of the players in the divisions of the league.
