Stockport & District Pool League is one of the larger pool leagues in the United Kingdom, being founded in the early 1970's, and run by its members for its members.

The league has been a member of Greater Manchester County Pool Association since the county association was founded, and by virtue of this membership, is affiliated to English pool's governing body, the English Pool Association.
